Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data HurghadaInvest collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It is written for visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom as well as from everywhere else.

Who is responsible

This website is run by Ahmed Mohamed Faisal Abdelghaffar Ahmed Agiz (“Ahmed”), who operates a registered real-estate marketing business in Hurghada, Red Sea, Egypt. He is the controller of the data described below.

What we collect, and why

When you send an inquiry through a form on this site, we store:

• your name, your WhatsApp number, your e-mail address if you give one, and your message;
• which listing the inquiry is about and the language of the page you sent it from;
• the date and time, your IP address and your browser’s identification string.

We use the first two groups to answer you and to follow up on your inquiry — that is, to take steps at your request before a possible contract. We answer on WhatsApp, at the number you gave, usually with photos and details of the property. We use the IP address and browser string only to protect the form against abuse (for example automated mass submissions), which is our legitimate interest. Giving us your data is voluntary, but without a name, a WhatsApp number and a message we cannot answer an inquiry.

On WhatsApp or by phone — whether you contact us there or we answer your inquiry there — the conversation takes place in those services and is subject to their own terms and privacy policies (WhatsApp is a service of Meta). We receive whatever you choose to tell us there.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we make no automated decisions about you.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, named lang, which remembers the language you chose for one year. It contains nothing but a language code. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Content loaded from other companies

• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address.
• Videos (YouTube or Vimeo) and maps (OpenStreetMap) on a listing are loaded only after you tap them. A still preview image of a video may be loaded from the video provider when the page opens.
• WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, a service of Meta.

Who receives your data

• Ahmed and the people who work with him on your inquiry.
• Hostinger, the hosting company whose server runs this website and stores its database, acting on our instructions.
• EvaNor Studio, which built and maintains the website and may see stored inquiries while doing so.

We are based in Egypt, so your inquiry is read and answered from Egypt. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for Egypt; by sending us an inquiry you ask us to handle your request from there.

How long we keep it

We keep an inquiry for as long as we are dealing with it and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you come back to us. We delete it earlier if you ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct it, delete it, or restrict what we do with it;
• stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interest;
• hand over the data you gave us in a commonly used format.
